Custom Made Box Sign

A projecting box sign is where a metal box section is used to make a framework. The sign panel material is folded along the edges to form a lid effect which then rests over the framework. The panel part of the sign is fixed to the frame along the sides and top and thereby not in the face of the actual sign. Depending on the location the sign may be made from aluminium or steel. Aluminium is a lighter material and so easier to install but steel may be necessary as it is stronger and heavier. This type of projecting sign has a higher end finish and is often used for corporate signage. Custom box signs are also used a lot as a main business sign – you never get a second chance to make a first impression! These box signs are custom made to suit any size shop front – especially if the surface is uneven. A box sign is ideal for uneven surfaces, once it is securely attached to the wall it creates a perfectly smooth surface to display your message.

Traditional Projecting Signs

The signs in this category are deemed traditional because of their appearance and connection with certain industries. Typically these signs can be seen outside historic  ‘traditional’ style building or if a business image is based on history of tradition.  A black sometimes twisted wrought iron bar extends from the wall with a scroll which can be above, below or in a decorative arch above the bar. A panel is then attached to the bar with stainless steel fixings which makes it the perfect outdoor sign. Every sign installed is a reflection of that business, and that is the case with these signs in particular. The panels can be stationary or swinging, and full colour graphics are applied to either side to double the impact.
